Context and the problem
SMTB was the first natural pregnancy online marketplace and subscription box company in the market. As part of their digital strategy, I created their website. It was a WordPress theme that I personalized, including changes in their coding in order to meet the client’s needs.
Design Process
I always kept in mind that it needed to be an informative, fast, and easy-to-use website given that the target customer is pregnant women that do not have a lot of time to do research. To better understand the market, I conducted Secondary Research as well as Semi-Structured Interviews and surveys.
From the UX research findings, I could create a Persona and a detailed Customer Journey. Once the user needs and customer journey were defined, I moved forward with the User Interface Design. Card sorting tests were implemented to ensure good navigation.
Final Solution
The website featured a subscription that was highly customizable to meet the user’s needs, as well as an option to purchase everything online for personal care.
